Conversion from Master’s to PhD

The Master’s-to-PhD Conversion process is an express pathway for outstanding Master’s by Research students to transition their study status directly into a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program without needing to complete their Master's thesis first.

This pathway is awarded to students who demonstrate exceptional research performance, where their current project is evaluated to possess a broad, in-depth scope with high potential to be expanded to a doctoral level. It serves as an academic recognition that enables students to optimize their study duration and achieve the Graduate on Time (GOT) target at the PhD level.
