Serdang, 18 December 2025 - The Faculty of Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences (FBSB), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), extends its warmest congratulations to two members of its academic staff for receiving the National Book Award 2024–2025 under the category Publication & Design: Best Book Design.

The prestigious award was conferred for the publication entitled Nanas Tanaman Tropika Pelbagai Guna (ISBN: 978-629-7689-27-2), which showcases excellence in scholarly content as well as outstanding publication design.

Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Mohamad Faizal Ibrahim

This achievement reflects FBSB’s continued commitment to producing high-quality scholarly works that contribute meaningfully to knowledge advancement, industry development, and society. The Faculty also acknowledges UPM Press for its role and support in the successful publication of this book.
