On 1 April 2026, the Office of Deputy Dean of Industry and Community Relations (TDJINM's Office) successfully organized the course “The Art of Negotiation: Industry Perspective” at Seminar Room 1.4, BioTech 1.
The session featured invited speaker Mr. Mohamad Sabrie Mohamad Salleh, a member of UPM's Board of Directors, who shared practical insights, effective strategies, and real-world industry experiences. His talk highlighted the importance of mastering negotiation skills in today’s competitive and dynamic professional environment.
The session provided participants with valuable perspectives on how to approach negotiations more strategically and professionally. Beyond techniques and strategies, it also strengthened participants’ confidence in engaging with industry partners and navigating complex discussions with greater impact.
Initiatives such as this reflect TDJINM’s commitment to fostering a culture of excellence while equipping its community with the skills and mindset needed to remain competitive and relevant in today’s evolving industry landscape.
In addition to the seminar, Mr. Mohamad Sabrie Mohamad Salleh also met with the faculty management and held a closed-door discussion session with the TDJINM's Office to discuss the faculty’s potential monetization opportunities.
