In collaboration with Ara Gemilang Saintifik Sdn. Bhd., the Department of Cell and Molecular Biology, Faculty of Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences has organized a “Comprehensive Lyophilization Course 2017” on 12 December 2017, at Bilik Mesyuarat Utama and Analytical Laboratory, Faculty of Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences. The course was attended by 19 participants including lecturers, project engineer, science officers, research officers, research assistants and students. The aim of the course was to transmit awareness, understanding and knowledge on implementation of basic principles of lyophilisation or freeze drying. There were two speakers on that day; Mr. Rais Abdul Rahman, a Product Specialist from Ara Gemilang Saintifik Sdn. Bhd. and Mr. Mohd Rizal Kapri, a Research Officer at the Faculty of Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences.
