On the 7th December 2017, a group of students under Bachelor Degree programme from the Faculty of Plantation and Agrotechnology UiTM Melaka, Jasin Campus, made an academic visit to Biotech 3 Laboratories, at the Faculty of Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences. The visit started with a briefing by Dr. Dhilia Udie Lamasudin, on the introduction of the Faculty and Department of Cell and Molecular Biology, in Lecture Room 3.1. Then the students were brought to Proteomic Laboratory and the briefing on the laboratory was given by the Head of the laboratory, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Puad Abdullah. Next, the students visited the Plant Tissue Culture Laboratory and were briefed on plant tissue culture and the laboratory by Dr. Nur Fatihah Mohd Yusoff as the Head of the laboratory. The visit was one of the ways to promote the laboratory facilities that is related to plant research to the students with the hope to strengthen their interest in developing the agricultural sector in Malaysia.
