On 12 March 2019, the Faculty of Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences was inspected by the Office of Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation) on the expenditure of maintenance and repair of research equipment for 2018. Besides inspection of financial records, a visit to the laboratory which placed the equipment was also held. This monitoring is important for the University to plan its allocations for maintenance and repair of research equipment for the year 2019. The Faculty was visited by 3 monitoring officers, namely:

1. Pn. Norlinawati Abd Halim (Faculty of Food Science and Technology)
2. Pn. Nik Amelia Nik Mustapha (Institute of Tropical Agriculture and Food Security)
3. En Mohd Azman Ahmad (Research Management Center)

Overall, the officers were satisfied with the expenditure compliance, which in line with the Faculty’s plan. The Faculty wishes to extend sincere appreciation on the cooperation of the Faculty staff who were involved during the monitoring.
