UPM Holdings Sdn Bhd (UPMH) and Worldwide Holdings Berhad (WHB) have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) for a consultancy project of biochar production from woodchips. The MoA signing ceremony was held on 6th August 2019 (Tuesday) at Biomass Technology Laboratory, Biorefinery Complex, UPM.

The signing ceremony was also attended by the Vice Chancellor of UPM, Prof. Datin Paduka Dato’ Dr. Aini Ideris, CEO of Worldwide Holdings Berhad; Datin Paduka Norazlina Zakaria and Project Advisor and Head of Biorefinery Complex, Prof. Dato’ Dr Mohd Ali Hassan.
