On 25th April 2019, a group of students under Bachelor Degree programme from the Faculty of Plantation and Agrotechnology UiTM Melaka, Jasin Campus, has made an academic visit to the Biotech 3 Laboratory, Faculty of Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences. The visit started with the briefing by Dr Dhilia Udie Lamasudin, on the introduction of Faculty of Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences  and Department of Cell and Biomolecular Sciences in Lecture Room 3.1. Then the students were brought to Plant Molecular Biology Laboratory and the briefing on the laboratory were given by the Dr. Noor Baity Saidi. The students were then visited Molecular Laboratory and was briefed on the genetic engineering application in plants by Prof. Dr. Ho Chai Ling as the Head of the Laboratory. Overall, the visit was one of the ways to promote the laboratory facilities that is related to plant research to the students which were meant to develop the agricultural sector in specifically in Malaysia.
