On 14 April 2019, an annual event of the Department of Cell and Molecular Biology, MYCELMOLMEET’19 was held at Bukit Ekspo, UPM. This programme was organized by the second year students of BSc (Hons) Cell and Molecular Biology, under the supervision of Dr Mohd Azuraidi Osman, with participation from lecturers, staff and students from Year One to Year Four of the department. The programme started with an opening speech by the Head of Department, Assoc. Prof Dr. Adam Leow Thean Chor, followed by zumba and group activities. Some of the activities were named Zootopia, Have Some Balls, Blow, blow blow!, Human Caterpillar and Mysterious Box. Upon completion of the activities, the programme was continued with prize-giving ceremony and lunch. This event is one of the steps to ameliorate the connections between lecturers, staff and students in the department, as well as encouraging participants to face their fears. It is hoped that this event will be held again in future.
